Our Project

If you’re like us, and you work in downtown Minneapolis, I’m sure you’ve enjoyed exploring the extensive skyway system that runs throughout our fair city.  It’s great in winter and makes grabbing a snack or lunch wonderfully easy.  But it’s easy to get lost, and the restaurant choices can be a little overwhelming!  We’ve decided to systematically try all of the restaurants within the skyway so that we know where  to find the hidden gems, the best bargains, and the places to avoid at all costs.

Stay tuned for the many reviews to come!

  1. Are you looking for people to help you cover the parts of the skyway not listed on your map?

    • Sure! We’d be happy to have help covering new parts of the skyway! There’s just two of us, and you can see that there are parts of the skyway we don’t usually wander over to, so any help would be appreciated.

  2. I came across your site and really like it. I own the Salad Creations downtown and we are located near the Target store on Nicollet Mall. I invite you down sometime and I would love to buy you lunch. Let me know when you would have time to visit.

    Thanks!

    • Thanks! I’m afraid I’m not currently working in Minneapolis, but I still plan to add to the site, and whenever I have the chance, I’ll happily visit Salad Creations!

  3. Cool site. Are you gonna keep blogging? I was gonna mention your site from our twitter , @skywayapp but newest post is from August 2009.

Be on the lookout for our iPhone App. http://www.skywayapp.com

    • In theory, yes, I do hope to keep blogging. I’ve been trying to recruit some of my colleagues to help me add more to the site, though we do seem to be on a bit of a temporary hiatus right now.

  4. Hi there, this is a great site. I’ve been harassing my disbelieving friends about various gems in the skyways for ages. My last pleasant surprise was the goat curry from the Kebabs buffet at State Fare, you might want to check it out. Also you should check out my restaurant photo/review blog at Minneapolis Meal File if you are interested. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
